Why is it free?
We run a martial arts school ourselves, and we remember how tight things are when you are starting out. Arnold is free while you build your membership so the software never stands between you and opening your doors.
When your school grows, Silver and Gold add email, SMS and your own member app — and they cost less than most systems charge for their entry plans.

Free plan questions
Is Arnold really free?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever for gyms with up to 50 active members. There is no credit card, no trial period and no time limit.
What is the catch?
There isn't one. Arnold is free while you are building your membership. When you grow past 50 active members, or want email and SMS, you upgrade to Silver ($77 per month). Most of the system stays exactly the same.
Can I take direct debit payments on the free plan?
Yes. Integrated Worldpay direct debit is included on the free plan.
Do closed members count towards the 50?
No. Only open (active) accounts count. Past students stay in Arnold, free and unlimited, with all their history.
Can you move our members across from another system?
Yes — send us a CSV or Excel export and we will import it for free. You can also use the self-service import with column matching and duplicate checking.
